Day 1 :
Welcome arrival at Ben Gurion airport, meet and transfer to Jerusalem.
Day 2 :
Morning: Drive to the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of Jerusalem. Visit Pater Noster church, Ascension Place, the Garden of Gethsemane, Mount Zion, the Upper Room and King David's Tomb.
Afternoon: Drive past the Knesset building to the Israel Museum; visit the Shrine of the Book. Proceed to Mount Herzl, Yad Vashem, and the model of Jerusalem at the time of the Second Temple.
Day 3 :

Day 4 :
Morning: Drive around the Old City Walls; visit the Temple area, the Dome of the Rock, Al-Aksa Mosque, the Golden Gate and the Western Wall. Continue via Bethany, the Tomb of Lazarus, the House of Mary and Martha, the Good Samaritan's Inn, and the Wilderness of Judea to Jericho. Visit Tel Jericho excavations, Elishah's Fountain, view the Mount of Temptation and proceed to the Dead Sea area.
Afternoon: visit the caves of Qumran, the place where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Stop at the Dead Sea for a swim and return to Jerusalem.
Day 5 :
All day tour via Beeroth, Bethel and Shiloh to Nablus (Shechem), visit Jacob's well and continue to Sebastia, visit the ruins of ancient Samaria if situation permits, otherwise take the Jordan Valley route. Proceed via the Jezreel Valley to Nazareth. Visit the Annunciation Church, St. Joseph's Carpentry Shop and Mary's Well. Drive via Cana of Galilee to Tiberias.
Day 6 :
Morning: Drive to the Sea of Galilee, for a boat ride to Capernaum. Visit Capernaum, Tabgha and the Mount of Beatitudes. Continue to Ein Gev, visit the kibbutz, and to the outlet of the Jordan River.
Afternoon: Free or optional touring
Day 7 :
Morning: Drive north to Acre, visit St. John's Crypt and the fortifications, continue to Haifa, Mount Carmel, Stella Maris and the Persian Gardens.

JORDAN
To walk in Jordan is to tread on history: one can find shards and pieces of mosaic scattered over the hillsides and everywhere are remains of Assyrian, Hellenistic, Nabataean, Roman, Byzantine, Crusader and early Arab rimes, In addition there is a flourishing modern Arab culture. A seasoned traveller should not miss Petra "the rose-red city half as old as time", Jerash, "the Pompei of the East", and the Biblical Mount Nebo.
A tour of Jordan can he combined very well with one of Israel and/or Egypt.
Visas
Tour members are required to have for entry to Jordan. If tour members are arriving at Amman airport, Aqaba port, Sheikh Hussein or Arava border-visas can be obtained upon arrival for most nationalities. There is a fee for this. Please check with us for advice on which nationalities cannot obtain visas upon arrival.
It is necessary for group leaders to carry 10 photocopies of Passport Manifest consisting of name, nationality, date and place of birth, passport number, place and date of issue, and date of expiration. Please note that certain nationalities cannot obtain a visa upon arrival so please always inform us of the citizenship of passengers and we will advise accordingly. For crossing at Allenby Bridge Visa is obligatory. It is not issued at the border.

SINAI
The Sinai is a beautiful desert peninsula. As well as stunning landscape it has great historical significance for the 3 main religions. Because of its location it is best combined with tours of Israel and Egypt. There is increasing choice of accommodation in Sinai with Hilton hotels at Taba and Sharm, as well as good three star hotels at St. Catherine village and along the coast. St. Catherine's monastery is located at the foot of Mt. Sinai. It is possible to visit the monastery between 9 and 12 every morning, except Fridays, Sundays and holidays.
Visas
Visas for south Sinai can be obtained at the Egypt-Israeli border at Taba, or at Nuweiba port. These are valid for two weeks only; they are not valid for the rest of Egypt. If you plan onward travel to Egypt, you must obtain an Egyptian visa prior to entering Sinai.
Seasons
The Sinai coast is mild in the winter. In land it can get cold in the mountains. In the summer the whole Sinai Peninsula can get very hot.

EGYPT
Egypt offers a wealth of ancient history dating back 5,000 years and also a feast of natural beauty particularly centered on the River Nile. Magnificent temples and tombs of Pharaonic times dominate Luxor, Aswan and Abu Simble and near Cairo itself one may see the famous pyramids which also feature an impressive 'Sound and Light' show. The fabled finds of Tutankhamen's tomb are in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo: the gold adornment is dazzling. In Cairo, too, there are historic mosques and churches, bustling bazaars where one may still find many of the crafts of the East. Egypt can be visited on its own or combined with Israel and/or Jordan to make a wonderful Middle East tour.

CAIRO, LUXOR AND ASWAN

Day 1 :
Arrive in Cairo. Transfer to hotel.
Day 2 :
Full day tour of Memphis, Sakkara, the pyramids of Giza, the Valley Temple and the Sphinx. Transfer to railway station and departure by sleeper train to Luxor. Dinner will be served on the train.
Day 3 :
Arrival at Luxor. Cross the Nile by ferry to visit the West Bank of the Nile River. Valley of the Kings, Queens and Nobles, and Deir Elo Babari. Return to hotel.
Day 4 :
After breakfast, departure by train to Aswan. Late arrival in Aswan and visit by feluca the Elephantine Island, Botanical Island and Aga Khan's Tomb. Continue to the High Dam. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
Day 5 :
Morning free (optional tour of Abu Simbel.) late transfer to railway station and depart by sleeper train to Cairo. Dinner will be served on the train.
Day 6:

SYRIA
Man has left his mark in this ancient land since prehistoric times (Ugarit). The Romans built beautiful cities (Palmyra) and the Crusaders built magnificent castles (Kark des Chevaliers). Syria has been more than the crossroads of power and trade, but of religions as well: beautiful ancient temples, mosques and churches abound throughout the land.
Damascus is the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world. Apart from its historic sites, recalling St. Paul among others, it is a thriving contemporary city as well, and the souks or bazaars are rich with beautiful crafts.
Visas (Individuals)
For individuals it is recommended that the visa be obtained in the country of origin. Certain nationalities may apply for the visa in Amman. Please check with us first. For groups, the visa can be obtained at the border. The group visa manifest must be sent to us in advance.

For groups of at least ten passengers, a Syrian visa can he obtained free upon arrival at Syrian border. This applies to most nationalities, but please check with us first.

Day 1 :

Option 1 Athens - Corinth & Three Day Cruise to the Greek Islands and Turkey
Day 1 / THURSDAY, ARRIVE IN ATHENS - TOUR TO CORINTH & ATHENS :
At 9a.m. arrive at Athens International Airport. Upon arrival start the day tour to Ancient Corinth. Our bus will take you out of Athens by the Saronic Gulf, where in 480 BC history's root was changed! The small Grecian fleet managed to defeat the enormously powerful armada of the Persians. From here, via the historic Corinthian Canal, (quick stop for photos) you will arrive at Ancient Corinth (Acts 18:1-18).
It was to this megalopolis where the apostle Paul came and worked, established a thriving church, subsequently sending two of his epistles now part of the New Testament. Here, you see all of the sites associated with his ministry: the Agora, the Temple of Apollo, the Roman Odeon, the Bema and Gallio's Seat. The small archaeological museum here is an absolute must! You will also see the ruins of early Christian 5th century basilica at the Ancient Port of Cenchreae before returning to Athens.
In the afternoon start the sightseeing tour of Athens (Acts 17:15). Climb up to the marble-capped Acropolis and visit the famous Parthenon and the Erechteum. Then, you will go to nearby Mars' Hill (or Areopagus) (Acts 17:22) where the Apostle Paul delivered his well-known sermon. Your tour will continue with a panoramic drive to see the highlights of modern Athens: pass by the tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Parliament House, Presidential Palace, Panathenian Stadium, Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Academy, the University and the National Library.

Day 2 / FRIDAY, PIRAEUS - MYKONOS, GREECE :
At 8:30 in the morning transfer to the port of Piraeus for embarkation on the ship for 3-Day Cruise to the Greek islands and Turkey. At 11:00a.m. sail for Mykonos at 11:00 a.m.
In the afternoon (6:00 p.m.), arrive in Mykonos. It combines international jet-set atmosphere and a very active nightlife. Stroll at leisure through the whitewashed, flower-decked alleyways, climbing to the sculpture church of Paraportiani or along the waterfront of << Little Venice >> to the well-known windmills. Sail for Rhodes at 10:00 p.m. (B-L-D)
Day 3 / SATURDAY, RHODES, GREECE :
At 9:30 a.m. arrive at Rhodes. In ancient times, the Colossus of Rhodes was one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. This stronghold was built by a Crusading Order, which originated from Palestine. The optional half-day excursion takes you to visit the Temple of Athena on the majestic rocky Acropolis of Lindos, with the blue Aegean Sea beneath it and the sophisticated whitewashed artists' colony at its foot. Local tradition has it, that Paul's ship on it way to Rome, spent some time in the small harbor. Afternoon is free in Rhodes. Stroll around the medieval walled city; enjoy the cosmopolitan atmosphere from one of the elegant cafes in the marina. Sail for Patmos at 7:30 p.m. (B-L-D)
Day 4 / SUNDAY - PATMOS, GREECE - KUSADASI (EPHESUS), TURKEY :
At 6:30 a.m. arrive at Patmos, this beautiful and almost mysterious rocky island where the apostle John was exiled and wrote the Book of Revelation. Drive up to the Monastery of St. John the Evangelist where we have a wonderful view of the island. We also visit the Grotto of the Revelation. After some free time for browsing, return to the ship and sail for Kusadasi at 10:00 a.m.
Lunch aboard the ship. At 2:00 p.m. disembarkation in Kusadasi, Turkey, where you start the tour to the ancient city of Ephesus. The Apostle Paul preached to the Ephesians and lived here for three years. This church also received an epistle from him. You will visit the spectacular ruins where excavations still continue in this once great and important city, which was founded in the 10th century BC. Walk through history along marble streets lined with wonderful public buildings, among them the Baths of Scholastica, the Library of Celsus, the Temple of Hadrian and the Theater. The Temple of Diana of the Ephesians, another of the seven wonders of the ancient world, was built in this city. Check-in at hotel in Kusadasi. (B-L)

Day 7 / SATURDAY, KUSADASI EMBARKATION FOR 3-DAY CRUISE TO GREEK ISLANDS - PATMOS
At 9:00 a.m. transfer to Kusadasi port for embarkation on the ship at 10:00a.m. The ship sets sail for at 12 noon for Patmos. At 4:00 p.m. arrive at this beautiful mysterious rocky island where the exiled Apostle John wrote the Book of Revelation. We have an optional tour: we drive up to the Monastery of St. John the Evangelist, where we have a wonderful view of the island. At 7:00 a.m. we call at Heraklion Crete, (Acts 27:7-13) where our optional excursion takes us from the lively bustling city to visit the Minoan Palace of Knossos, legendary home of the Minotaur (half bull and half man). Sail for Santorini at 11:30 a.m., where we arrive at 4:30 p.m. Disembarkation by tender-boats, weather permitting. Take a mule or the cable car up to the white-washed town of Thera; perched high on the rim of the ancient volcano, the eruption of which (1,600 BC) literally buried a flourishing Bronze Age town which has now been excavated at Akrotiri.
